Drug Smugglers Open Fire, Two Police Personnel Killed In Rajasthan

Two police constables had been killed after suspected drug smugglers opened hearth at a patrolling staff in Rajasthan’s Bhilwara district, police mentioned on Sunday.

The incident befell on Saturday evening in Kotdi police station and Raika police station areas when police groups had been patrolling after organising barricades.

The armed smugglers, who had been travelling in two automobiles, opened hearth on the police groups wherein the 2 constables sustained bullet accidents. They succumbed to accidents at a hospital.

Bhilwara SP Vikas Sharma mentioned, “Two constables were killed in the firing. Police teams have been alerted to search for the accused.”

The victims had been recognized as Omkar Raika and Pawan Chaudhary.
