The film Manikarnika is the story of Rani Lakshmibai, who was one of the leading figures of the Indian Rebellion of 1857. The film casted Kangana Ranaut, Mohd. Zeeshan Ayyub, Ankita Lokhande in lead roles.
Today on January 25 2020 it completed two years and casts celebrated the day with utmost charm and enthusiasm.
Actress Ankita Lokhande who played the role of Jhalkari Bai posted a glimpse of both the offscreen and on screen shoots of the movie on her Instagram handle and fans are getting crazy over the glimpse.
Ankita Lokhande was appeared in the famous TV show Pavitra Rishta with late actor Sushant Singh Rajput and got all her fame, further the movie Manikarnika was her debut movie where she played the role of Jhalkari Bai and won hearts of the audiences with her amazing character and beautifully played role.
Today as the movie celebrating its anniversary, Ankita shared a three minutes video on her social media handle gave viewers the glimpse of her role as Jhalkari Bai in the movie.
We could now see her practising fighting with the sword in some of the BTS clippings. Apart from that few shots of the film are also shown.
The actress shared the glimpse of all those horse rides she did as offscreen and practices she completed before appearing for her debut movie. included pictures from the sets in her along with the video Ankita shared a caption describing her feeling towards the movie.
On the other hand leading actress and the major role player of Rani Lakshmi Bai, Kangana Ranaut took her Twitter handle to speak about her experience and feelings, she wrote ”

She further said, “India has been witness to the story of many bravehearts such as Rani of Jhansi. Another such untold heroic story is that of queen of Kashmir, who defeated Mahmud Ghaznavi not once but twice. Kamal Jain and me are coming up with #ManikarnikaReturns: The Legend of Didda.”
‘Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi’ is the movie that was co-directed by Kangana only. In the tweet she mentioned all those achievements movie got and shared her throwback picture from the set on the wheelchair.
